Five things to do in Iceland

A trip to Iceland should be top of every travelers list.  It’s unlike anywhere else you have been before and is a quick flight from London.  Here’s five things you should experience.

Start your adventure in the capital city and explore the cafe culture, see the famous Hallgrímskirkja church and relax with an Icelandic beer.

Kex Hostel

Stay in the town centre at a hostel that used to be a biscuit factory.  The large hostel has a restaurant and bar for days where you want to stay in and chill and friendly staff who can book any excursions you want to do.

Get yourself a famous Icelandic hotdog for cheap eats on the go.  Skip the fermented shark and try a hot dog ‘with everything’ to experience what is probably Iceland’s national dish.

Golden Circle Tour

Take a one day tour to take in all the big sites and attractions of Iceland.  The stunning geothermal activity, waterfalls and Pingvellir National Park are sure to impress.

Blue Lagoon

The Blue Lagoon is the most famous of all Icelandic hot springs and is conveniently on the way to the airport.  You can book your entry ticket and airport transfer with Greyline at your hostel or the information centre on your last day in this stunning country.
